We had a great time with Kings Kaleidoscope at Manchester Academy on the 27th May. This was our biggest Gather event yet with around 250 people coming together for a night of worship in one of Manchester's gig venues.
Kings Kaleidoscope played a great mix of their own songs as well as their own renditions of old hymns which had the whole room singing! Rivers & Robots played an opening set too for just over half an hour with songs from the new album. It was R&R's first gig after the album release, and Kings Kaleidoscope's first event in the UK. So it was a special night all around! Have a look at the video below for a taster of the evening!
One of our favourite things about these kind of events is getting to invite people who aren't christians along to it. With it being an event outside the church, it makes it much easier for people to come to and for people to invite their friends to as well. So not only does it build up church unity but also becomes a real evangelistic evening! The gospel was proclaimed through word and song at the evening and we've already heard some really encouraging testimonies of people who needed it to hear it that night!
